I'm organizing a musical vacation in Mexico. You buy a ticket sign up for a medical study, go to 2 DR. visits state side, wear a patch, and get reimbursed for your ticket and spending cash up to $1500. I'm thinking some time next winter. I know it's ligit.
I'll be in Mexico next week researching venues and accommodations. It may end up being an all inclusive deal. Let me know if your interested so I've got some idea of numbers. Forward this to your friends.

A Mexican Medical study? I think I have seen a Zombie flick that started like this. Do you have more details about this study? I am intrigued.

Yeah. It for traveler's diarrhea. My brother-in-law is involved on the medical end. You just wear a patch and behave normally. My mom and stepfather have participated.

I'd consider it. Maybe you can provide a vehicle for interested parties to sign up for information updates by e-mail off-list.

Will do. Research is going well so far. I´ve found the venue already(Pictures to come). As far as music is concerned. I´m planning on drawing mostly from my very talented friends. I have to crunch numbers before I decide to get a regional or national act this first time around.
Here´s a taste for starters.

He's good, kind of a James Brown vibe to my ears. This plan has me on the edge of my seat. More power to you, and count me in of course.

And in 10 years we all grow tails and our ears turn scaly and green? What is this stuff anyway. If it were totally safe would they be giving out free vacations?
Sorry to be a cynic, I could use a tropical vacation myself but everything has it's cost, right?

Yes travel and accommodations up front. Then when you go to the two brief clinic visits in the States and in Mexico and fill out two phone survey afterwards the study gives you cash at each step totaling $200- 250.
US clinic sites in NYC, Rockville MD, Raleigh NC Wilmington NC, Miami FL, Salt Lake City Utah, Houston TX, Dallas TX, San Antonio TX, San Francisco CA, and San Diego CA. More locations may be added if there are enough people in an area.
