Brad Barr & Wilco
Wilco came to play London, Ontario tonight, and right before the group came on stage they played "Sarah Through The Wall" over the PA. I lost it hahaha! Couldn't believe my ears

Very cool. I hope we get a Brad tune in the house music in Montreal this weekend.
Here's a possibility as to how that connection got started: Last summer Wilco picked up lighting designer Jason Liggett who worked at Higher Ground in Burlington,VT. I'm sure he's worked with The Slip/SMMD at HG over the years, and this article mentions he's worked with The Duo: http://www.7dvt.com/2009shine-light .
Edited to add: I just clicked on his old myspace page off of that article and Brad's album was listed under "currently listening to." Small world...
