Here's a possibility as to how that connection got started: Last summer Wilco picked up lighting designer Jason Liggett who worked at Higher Ground in Burlington,VT. Edited to add: I just clicked on his old myspace page off of that article and Brad's album was listed under "currently listening to." Small world...

i've heard that connection before, i think someone turned their lighting guy onto Davis, probably at Higher Ground that sounds like the best bet
