I'm loving the new Bon Iver album. I hit play and listened straight through the entire album while making dinner, etc... the other night. Beautifully haunting vocal harmonies and a soothing and simple sound. It almost felt like i already knew the songs.
Not sure if that album is on the spectrum of this site, but its worth a listen.
You thoughts?
Later,
A

Cool album. It doesn't (and probably couldn't) have the magic of the first record, but it's pretty powerful. It's available for streaming on Grooveshark, listed under album name "2011." Do any of you guys use Grooveshark for streaming - great resource for checking out music.

The first album was pure magic. Don't think Vernon would ever attempt to recreate anything close to For Emma. That said, the new album is great and definitely different. I don't think it'll strike a chord with as many people F.E.
It's hard to make a record, sadder, prettier, more haunting and with that kind of staying power again.
