i've really been digging "the great book of john"... the latest album is so great, and I'm currently going back into their catalouge searching for more gems. i also like a band called "the dutch uncles", the CD i was given by them is awesome.

This pretty unknown band out of Boston called My Politic, album I have is Younger Still

I finally listened to the Real Estate stuff, and much prefer the first album, self-titled, to Days. I found a band through Last.fm in a similar vein that was enjoyable, Youth Lagoon. Haven't listened to them extensively, yet, however.

btw, just went to see White Denim down at maxwells on saturday. GREAT live show. Highly encourage going to see them if you are presented with the opportunity.
