Hey, has anyone tried to figure out / master the card trick that is laid out for us in One Sick Knave? If so, care to share?

I was under the impression it was just a reference to the saying that was used to remember the order you're supposed to keep the cards in for doing magic tricks. Eight kings threatened to save ninety five ladies from one sick knave (8 K 3 10 2 7 9 5 Q 4 A 6 J).
