New site styles

Post: # 62Post admin »

I just installed subBlack, which is a light-on-dark style deal.
Change style in your profile. Each user has their own. I'll
look into putting together other basic styles...these can be
changed on the fly as they don't affect the actual content,
just the presentation. Funky.....

OK...just found a bunch of other styles. Go to town.

Yea I was look at the phpbb web page today and I saw all of the color styles that could be downloaded....Lots O stuff on their page. Going to read up this week and next.

Crapo, from first glance it looks like the more color styles, the more editing/graphics that are going to have to be created. That is assuming the text on top of the board (what color style your on) is going to change to a graphic or some other sort of text.

Also, I got lost making an avatar and before I knew it the file size was way to big, even if it was hosted on another server. But it was funny so I will throw it below for a bit. It might take a min. or two to load. It seems to go really slow the first cycle through, it should speed up the second cycle. LOL guess I got too bord last night.

PIC Gone.....

How to load styles

Post: # 74Post Pstylie Guy »

Go to your profile, near the bottom is a style pick list.
Pick a different one and when you go back to the BBoard,
it gets auto-loaded. I'm not sure if you can edit that style,
it seems the styles all have many components, have to do
a bit more digging (Jeff will probably beat me to it ;-}).

I don't know computers at all, I just read the manuals....

That's pretty freaking sweet!! Really long and really slow... but cool (get a hobby bitch!)
I said it was going to be slow the first time through. After seeing the first time, if you come back it will be faster. Your pulling it from my FTP site. Thats why it so slow at first. I don't have any hosting space right now. Looking so if anyone knows a good company let me know. Your looking/listing to my hobby.
