got this error when i just tried to access the site.

That's when too many people are on at once (not just our site, the whole server). Try again later...there's not much we can do to fix this problem.

What other sites are on your server? is this site linked to other domains?

i just waited a few minutes and then tried again and it worked fine. didn't have any trouble right now.

It's not my server, and the sites are virtual so I can't "see" the others.

This is the nature of "shared hosting". That is why they're so cheap.
