"little song"
Airplane/Primitive
Suffocation Keep
Paper Birds
Moderate Threat >
Cowboy Up
If one of us should fall >
Children of Decemer

The show was great, and Harry sent me down to LA with his dat machine, but the knitting factory told me that I needed to pay $100 to record the show....yikes - don't know why they were talking crazy, but past that the night was great.

hey lumpy, thanks for taking note! i just posted my version over at phrazz's place. sorry you couldnt record, i was looking for tapers, none there...anyways...i guess i missed "song for the little man"
I didn't hear Moderate Threat>Cowboy Up, just Cowboy Up, but I haven't seen that tune in my last couple shows so I may have fouled that up. Anyways, feel free to go correct my version or something. Or Phrazz if you see this.

Thanks for the quick setlist! Sorry to hear about the deck, $100 is pretty steep, I have heard of venues pulling shit like that. Seems like they played an abridged version of the SF setlist so at least we have that one on tape...

Great pictures there Sara ;) Too bad I didn't see you....it was a great, great show indeed! Got my slip fill for another year.....and it was all well worth it. I knew I was going to LOVE dancing to Cowboy Up live....mmmmm,mmmm yum! And that let there be horses really threw me for a loop....haven't gotten that song out of my head since. Guess what else? I checked into the hotel that I booked weeks ago and guess who I ran into there? I guess the boys decided on staying at the same crappy hotel that I stayed in, which isn't really that strange but the fact that they were all on my floor and in my corner was a coincidence for sure! Strange, good weirdness, indeed ;}

robyn,

i was wondering if i was going to see you. where were you standing?

was cowboy up that crazy jam with the slide guitar and all? the one with the hugest most thunderous applause? if so i'd give that the MVP for the night!

besides that, my faves were even rats (as i told brad- i was finally converted to the church of even rats after that performance), suffocation keep, and the drum breakdown in children of december. that part of the song always makes me feel like it's going to vault us all through the roof. know what i mean?

that's awesome you ran into the boys. the universe brought you more love!

last night as i was saying goodbye at 3am i started digging around in my purse for some unknown thing and expressed "i feel like i'm missing something". then i realized "it's you guys". i think i left a piece of my heart with them and their music when i moved to LA. when i see/hear them it's like i'm reuniting with that piece of me.

I know exactly what you are talking about on Children of December. The drum fills send lightning bolts as brad usually climbs anything possible. You start to dance quicker and sorta just shake.

I have found myself sometimes skipping over even rats because i had heard it so much, yet while at shows, all that goes away and i just do my best head bang :oops:

well i am waiting for December to come quick enough.

Keep on Rocking in a Free world

Sara,
Yes, that was Cowboy Up....for sure.

I was dancing right in front in between Marc and Andrew. I had a floral printed dress on with my hair back. Anyhow, yes...I too loved the Suffocation Keep, that Poorboy was pretty sick and I personally love Airplane Primative...oh and that Paper Birds and the encore of Proud....boy, I was Proud!!! ;} That Even' Rats DID kick some serious... I love how bouncy that song is. I do perfer it live...meaning I don't listen to it much unless it's a live recording. It must have been so great to be able to get to know and play music with them, and they with you ;}

Be well Sara!

Lots o' love,
Robyn
