Having just received the first week sales numbers of EISENHOWER (which placed The Slip at #35 on the Alternative New Artist Albums chart!), we are also pleased to announce the end of the year run of shows. The three-day run will start at Pearl Street in Northampton on December 28th followed by Lupo's in Providence on the 29th and New Year's Eve will be celebrated at North Six in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Come celebrate a great 2006 and prepare for a monumental 2007. Check The Slip's official site for details on the run.

Also, this Friday, December 1, at exactly 12 Noon Eastern time, The Slip will play a 45-minute set at Philadelphia's Electric Factory that will be simulcast on the city's acclaimed tastemaking radio station WXPN. In addition to being broadcast live on 88.5 FM, the concert wlll also be permanently archived on npr.org, as well as streamed online at xpn.org.
