any truth to the rumor that Brad is going to do some solo shows this fall? what ever happened to his solo album?

the show was last night in nyc, and according to jambands.com brad confirmed that his solo instrumental album would be out this fall sometime

Gotta wonder what he was doing for promotion for that show if it slipped right past SlipLive... (I know Clinton mentioned that there was a show but I don't believe any specific info was posted.)

Maybe he wasn't? Could've been kind of a warm-up show or something and he didn't want the pressure of living up to expectations of Slip fans traveling from afar for a solo show. :wink: I bet it was promoted locally.

I don't see any reason why Brad would feel any pressure playing music. And they never care about living up to fans expectations...just their own

Yeah, that was meant to be rather tongue-in-cheek.

Who knows why some shows get promoted more than others, could just be the timing.

show was pretty good. setlist included: sarah through the wall, deacon's son (pretty sure), ooh belle, and some other stuff - but it's hard to remember. didn't see anyone taping.
