i have to be honest, i was half listening to children of december on this mix-tape- but very quickly found myself lost in the song. what a great expanded version! lets hope they play some of the rarities found on this mix-tape tonight. thanks for a good mix.

Yah it's a cool version from 2004, it gets nice and spacey in the middle section. I hope they play and oldchool version of COD similar to that one. Less rocky, more jammy.

I really liked the exit from the song pre-Eisenhower. I loved the slowed down part. It was like a cool down session, almost, and the ending riff was so simple and so good.

It's awesome that you're taping Providence, Harry. I'll look out for you. I've never been to the Met before, so I'm looking forward to it. Anyone ever been? What's the deal with parking?

I was at the show last night. A lot more people than I expected. I thought the show was cool but I wish like usual that they had played longer and kinda said if they were planning on touring more or what not. I didnt really like the new sounding Reddish Moon but oh well. The new songs seemed pretty cool. Honestly at this point, I almost feel like the Barr Brothers put on a better show than the Slip. Maybe its just the material is so new to me but if you havent had the chance to see the Barr Brothers you will not be disappointed. The slip is still a fun show to see but they still seem to play a lot more of eisenhower than I care to hear.

Well that was fun. I hope to be able to put together some sort of tour mix with audio and maybe video. No promises!
