I went (and posted the setlist). Great show. Maybe not as good as the Southpaw one 2 weeks ago but still a very strong showing. Brad was really talkative and they all looked to be having a blast.
Soft Machine started really cool with an ambient loop playing over the PA as the band walked on stage. Right as they started playing the first chord it dropped out and the song started. Really tight sound.
The new song was really pretty. Most of the song was just Brad playing guitar and everyone singing. Near the end, Andrew came in and Marc played his MIDI footpedal.
Children of December and Sometimes True were really rocking.
Again, I enjoyed that it was just one set...keeps the momentum flowing.
All tto report.
