I just caught this avante-garde punk band Television on Rhapsody and looked up some reviews to see what they're all about. Definitely not straight punk like Sex Pistols, Ramones or even the Clash...something else and reminds me of some later bands we see even today.

all i know is television isn't around anymore. i remember reading a lot of great reviews of them and being called the "grateful dead of the new york punk scene" but i didn't really enjoy what i heard too much. it was good, but not what i was expecting after getting really pumped to listen.
