It seems like they are just backing her like they have done a couple other times...

A closer reading of the blurb indicates that the Slip will be the backing band for Sonya Kitchell. 
No offense to Ms. Kitchell, but I'm jonesing for a real live Slip show. The world needs them now more than ever..... c'mon fellas! We need you!
