One Sick Knave
Everything Must Go
Summer Of My Fall
Sissyfuss
To You
Unprotected Sex
When A Woman
Poor Boy**
Tombstone***
Roses In Bottles
That's The Way
I'm No Good At All
The Last One Ever****

* There were 2 slow Nathan songs thrown in there somewhere towards the middle/end. No encore, 1 long set (1.5hrs)
** Nathan left the stage leaving BAM + Marco to jam. Brad then left leaving just the MB3 to jam for a while. Brad tries to lead the song into It's A Long Way To the Top but I saw Marc look at him and shake his head no (guess PB was long enough without it).
*** Nathan's mic cut, there was banter between Nathan and the crowd until he fixed it
**** Mid song, Brad walks off the stage and tears and extended solo in crowd. He then brings his mic down into the crowd and has everyone help sing with him. A bunch of fans climb on stage and sing with Nathan. It was a very awesome moment.

I'll have a proper review with pictures up tomorrow.

Thanks for the set list Lucas. Looks like a great time. Just curious, how was the crowd? did they seem to know the material or do you think people are just there because the know of the Barr Bros or the SLip?

The crowd seemed to be there because they knew the guys as The Slip or The Barr Brothers. Actually there were a lot of Biscuit/Phish fans who had just heard about The Slip/Davis and wanted to check them out which is always cool. It seemed like everyone was having a good time, and Brad's solos and the jams were ridiculously on point (see that video of Roses & Bottles from Ottawa, cause the playing was just as good). The Poor Boy jam (and I don't really love Poor Boy) was wildly good, so many different themes... That said, about half the place cleared at about 1:15am, it was a work night after all. But I was shocked at the turnout for them, tons of people for their first time in Toronto. That said, the audience was fairly chatty and rowdy, especially during the slower tunes.

Oh, the funniest is, I was talking to Brad before the show and I wanted to know how the hell they managed to get the Royal Mountain Blues video up on Mashable, as that's a pretty big deal for them exposure wise. I asked if he had a contact there or something, needless to say he had no idea what Mashable is and when I informed Brad about how its the biggest social media news website on the internet, he was like 'oh yah, I saw Masha-something in tons of my emails, but I had no idea what it was, so I just didn't check any of them hahaha'. It was pretty funny.

So, in short, I'm happy the Barr Bros have someone handling their online marketing and social media (whoever is doing it right now is actually very on top of it) and they're leaving Brad and the band to just handle the music. Seems about right.

That's a funny story about Brad!

Any tapers? I've gotten spoiled by being able to hear all of this run so far....

did not see any tapers. probably for the best, i think it's safe to say the other shows were better/quieter (crowd wise)/tighter band wise...

My full review, not my best writing due to a pretty mean hangover.
