iPod cassette adapters

Does it matter at all what brand you buy, or how much it costs? Is there any sound difference between a cheap off brand $10 one and a $30 Griffin one? Bueller?

Some might argue that there is. If there is it would be minimal. I use a cheap one myself.

I tend to be pretty rough on them (they get kicked around my car, etc...) so I go with the cheaper ones. I've also had much better luck with the cassette adapters than with (cheaper) radio transmitters, as some of those can be really touchy on the signal or have annoying static at higher volumes.

well we all know the FM transmitters are the absolute worst. I'm pretty sure there is no difference between one tape adapter and the next but wanted to know if anyone was absolutely positive.....
