Slip in Ottawa ?
Ottawa Bluesfest - July 12, 2006
Andrew Barr and Marc Freidman are backing Dan Bern
Since the rhythm section of the Slip will be here in Ottawa anyway, the idea has been put forth to get a Slip show together afterwards. Considering that Dicky Betts will be playing a later slot at Bluesfest, there's more potential to have a fantastic day of music all around.
Would any of you make the trip?

Brothers Barr with Sister Brother is totally happenin'!
who wants to come to Ottawa? Marc and Andrew with Dan Bern at Bluesfest along with a full evening of music and then a set of Brad and Andrew's bluegrass ensemble 'Sister Brother' followed by an encore engagement of the Brothers Barr at Maverick's!

The Many Faces of The Barr Brothers
The creative energy of musical brilliance is a relentless thing. You'd think Andrew and Brad Barr would put their feet up and catch their breath any chance they could. Their trio, The Slip, which includes bassist Marc Friedman, does after all, play up to 150 shows a year.
But it seems the brothers simply cannot pause, even for a moment. Brad and Andrew Barr do not have only one side-project, they have two. On July 12th, for the first time ever, they will be gracing Ottawa, Ontario with both.
