I didn't realize Brad shared the same birthday with Sean Layton, former drummer of Jacob Fred J.O. who is now (sadly) deceased.

Has anyone ever heard the songs he recorded with Reed Mathis? The Retrospective Album has some really great stuff on it. I highly recommend picking it up -- kind of upbeat and uplifting for the most part, interesting/distinctive singing, poignant lyrics, a reggae-latin vibe and influence at times, and some great playing. Much more grounded and vocals-oriented than most of JFJO's stuff (nearly all of which I happen to dig), and definitely a great listening experience from start to finish.

Enjoy -- and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
