TAB: Driving Backwards With You (Attempt! Help me out here)

Post: # 15605Post booher »

Ok, so I just started to tab this out, because I've worked on it here and there for a while now, but I think I have some solid ideas down that sound close to the Aliveelectric recordings.

Key of A Major:

E|----------7s9---7---5--------
B|-------5-------------------7--
G|------------------------------
D|--6h7------------------------
A|------------------------------
E|------------------------------

So it's either that or this:

E|-----------7s9---7---5--------
B|--------5-------------------7--
G|-------------------------------
D|----7--------------------------
A|-7-----------------------------
E|-------------------------------

after that there are little fills like this:

E|---------------9--7--
B|-----7--5------------
G|---------------------
D|---------------------
A|---------------------
E|---------------------

Part 2:

E|--4----2--------------------2-----------------
B|----5----5--3--2--------------5------5---5-- Play around with that A Triad
G|--------------------4--2--------------6------ right there. There are
D|-------------------------------------7-------- variations of this plus some
A|---------------------------------------------- other stuff like fooling around
E|----------------------------------------------- with octaves and the like.

I've been off and on this tab for the last day, so maybe this weekend I can sit down and work on it some more. In the mean time though, enjoy this.

Also:

G|--------18--------------14-----------16
D|--------------------14-----------14----
A|-----19--------------------------------
E|--17------------14----------16----------

This is from Phrazz's site, but Brad also fools around with this, but on higher strings lower down on the fretboard for a more sparkly sound.
