I bet our mics will sound different though John and I were using the same pre-amp. My bass is a little low the first night because I was still figuring out the pre-amp and I'm a little dissapointed in the bass response in my mic (the Rode NT4) overall though on the whole I am satisfied with it and it is a nice solid, idiot-proof single unit which comes in handy if I am partying.
I was able to pump the torrents out pretty quickly, hometown shows and all. We got home after the 2nd show an hour or so before the road we had taken home collapsed in a tanker explosion which was a good thing for many reasons! Also with shows as good as these they should get around ASAP IMO.
Anyway I should be working right now but instead I am listening to night 1 and posting on Slipive... Time to have a cup of tea and get some focus... hard to get out of the showglow though...

I just got around to hearing this. Are d2t04 and d2t05 listed backward on the text file? That is what it sounds like. Also the tune "I'll Drown In My Tears" is a Ray Charles tune. I'm not 100% sure he wrote it. It was the late 50's I think. I'll poke around and see what I can figure out. Chime in if you know more...
Oh by the way this show also has a full blown "Steel Drum Zion"!! Awesome.
edit...
Looks like Ray wrote the music but Henry Glover penned the lyrics.

I'll Drown In My Own Tears
Henry Glover
Text: Henry Glover
Ray Charles
It brings a tear into my eyes,
When I begin to realize I've cried so much
Since you've been gone,
I guess I'll drowning in my own tears.
I sit and cry just like a child,
My pourin' tears are runnin' wild.
If you don't think you'll be home soon,
I guess I'll drown, oh yes, in my own tears.
I know it's true into each life,
Oh some rain, rain must pour
I'm so blue here without you
It keeps raining more and more.
Why can't you come on home
Oh yes so I won't be all alone.
If you don't think you'll be home soon
I guess I'll (drown in my own tears)
Ooh, don't let me (drown in my own tears)
When I'm in trouble, baby (drown in my own tears)
Oh, yeah, baby don't let me (drown in my own tears)
I guess I'll drown in my own tears, oh, (mmmmm).
