Brad in VT
Still revelling in (and recovering from) the fun times with the Burlington crew last weekend. I somehow turned off my alarm in my sleep this morning and was late for work... always a good sign.
So, here's a few pictures from the Radio Bean Saturday night:

This last one was 'If One of Us Should Fall' w/out guitar.

I shot mostly in black and white as the light was pretty low, and there's a red light on stage (and Brad wearing a yellow shirt) so color shots came out weird, as they usually do at Radio Bean. Perhaps I'll get a few more photos up from the weeked later tonight.

And it's not a party in Burlington until someone associated with Phish shows up... just kidding. That was a cool jam and I was digging the Rhythm-a-ning... too bad the cops came and ended the set a little early.
Pablo and Torph, I have a few more photos, I think you have the link.

Thanks Katie !!!! Damn I would ahve loved to make it up there to see this. How was that "If one of should fall"? Would have liked to hear it sung like that!
“We search for acceptance, yet we give not freely...”
"There is a lot more to people, then you might give them credit for."
Addictions: I spent many years unknowingly acquiring them, now I spend every minute trying to fight them.

'grupo capoeira camara angola' - down in central square, boston, with mestre deraldo teaching - good school. a couple of months ago i was just showing a little hasteda (trip move) to andrew here in boulder.... if i had known brad was down, i would have been more directed at him. heheheheheh maybe next time.

Hi Katie,
These photos are excellent! Definitely cool in B&W...though the one with trippy yellow and pink light is pretty wild. These with your new rig? Very crispy. Looks like it was a good time.
What do you use for resizing and edits? This seems to take most of the time. Sooner or later I'll put a gallery app up here, but I'm still checking them out. Have you used any that are web-based?
Have a good time in the great white north...hope you're doing sledding, skiing, boarding or at least building igloos.
-Keep up the quality work,
Phrazz

Thanks Beth! I'll have to get around to making some more prints one of these days. You know, it would be nice to have a camera phone for those moments when I'm unprepared... maybe when I finally replace my gigantic 3 year-old Nokia phone (but the thing just won't die!)... Hey, did Pablo show you guys the book I gave him for his birthday of photos from shows he's been to? I love being able to look back and remember moments from shows... you were probably at most of those too.
Phrazz, I hadn't noticed your reply before now. I shot almost entirely in black and white that weekend because of the lighting situations, which left me with little editing to do (just a bit of playing with the levels and brightness/contrast) so I was able to get them up online pretty quickly. I normally use Photoshop 7.0. I also have PhotoStudio5, which came with my Cannon G5, but having used Photoshop for classes in college for years, I find using PhotoStudio to be less intuitive with the tools and key-shorcuts. I think once you figure out how to do the stuff you need to do in software with as many possabilities as Photoshop it's hard to switch to anything else. I normally edit on my computer and then FTP them to my gallery, and also upload them to a passworded album when I post on messageboards and stuff. For web-hosting galleries I've just used Photobucket and Fotki which don't have a lot of options for customizing the appearance of your webpages, but I spend so much time editing and toning the photos themselves, that I don't want to spend a lot of time on the web-appearance. (I also have unlimited space through my photo-hosting gallery so I can upload the huge files without having to worry about re-sizing.)
And sadly I haven't gotten in any skiing or even sledding this year, but I've heard about a huge igloo a friend built off the front of his college townhouse, I'll have to get a picture for before it melts!
