Last I heard he was visiting his relatives on the planet Melmac. Here's a picture from the 175th annual Elmo Shumway Memorial Concert.
My apologies to Phrazz for abusing his photo.

In 1931, ALF's Uncle Elmo invented television. The first broadcast came on Tarble 14, 1932.
It was a fifteen minute shot of Elmo flossing his teeth with a trout.
Unfortunately, television didn't catch on until Shubert W. Fletch invented electricity, in 1938.

I helped run sound for him at a friends wedding a couple weeks ago where he (on guitar, keys and backing vocals - usually at the same time) and Meowskers (the whole band) killed it on songs as varied as "Start Me Up", "The Power of Love", "Dancing in the Dark", "Float On" and even Meatloaf's "I would do anything for love (But I won't do that)". What the hell is "that" anyway?
There was also a jazz set during cocktail hour in which "Fungi Mama" was played w/ Marc on guitar. Pretty cool for the older heads...
