does anyone know where/when the All I Saw Was You recording from the Surprise Me Mr. Davis myspace page is from? I didn't know that such a wonderful recording existed of that version of the song.
In late 2005 Brad and Nathan did some home recordings of some new tunes. It was shortly after the move to Montreal. The same visit that Sleepyhead was written. At least a few tracks were recorded (3-4) The album/session was cleverly titled "Have Merci on Me".
I noticed that too. I really love the instrumental that became paired with it and then became the basis for the new Slip "All I Saw Was You." If I had to choose one I think I'd pick that but the original vocal piece is really nice, almost like something to sing in a medieval church.
