Nathan sets

Post: # 20336Post bear »

Wasn't there a couple Nathan solo sets at HSMF? Any reviews, set lists, pics, recollections, recordings would be much appreciated.

I'm listening to his Juke Joint player at work. So so so good....

I didn't tape Nathan, I did sleep through his Sunday set. Also slept through the Slip Big Meadow set (just went back to the camper after starting my deck to sit down for a sec...) so it happens to the best of us. I guess I just can't stay up 24hrs/day.

I did catch the Vaudeville set which was great other than the fact that the band on the Big Meadow was really loud to the point of drowning Nathan out at times unless you were up front. I didn't keep a setlist but but remember 2 songs he mentioned were written at High Sierra, "Been Too Long" (or whatever it is called) and the jail song. Also recall Movin' By Lovin but for some reason am blanking on the rest of the set. Other than the sound bleed which I'm sure will affect the tapes I look forward to hearing this one. I know magpie's bf John taped it and there were other stands too.
