Pretty pumped to see SMMD next week in Burlington. Has anyone seen the opener Land of Talk before? I was just on thier myspace page, they sound interesting.
I saw Land of Talk open for Broken Social Scene last fall in Montreal and they were great. I'm a huge fan of both their EPs and their full-length. I'm a big fan of theirs, and even more excited now that Andrew's playing drums for them.
Land of Talk is an excellent band. I caught them when they opened for the Slip in Ottawa a couple of years back. The lead singer/guitarist, Elizabeth, has been in a number of barr brother projects in the last few years in montreal.
