Anyone know what the deal with the Foundation Room is? It's advertised a club within the HOB, members only. I know that for one other show I was going to see there I had to get on a list with the band... is that true here too?
Anyone been to Firehouse 13? I heard it's only tix at the door. Is it a show up early kind of place? Shows start on time? Is there a bar or BYOB or nothing? How large is the space?
Sry for all the questions I just havent been to Providence in a while.
The Firehouse 13 is located a little off the beaten path in Providence. Use Mapquest for directions and DO NOT use the Firehouse website directions (they will get you lost). It's a smallish room, kind of a dive, but they do have a small bar on the side. I've only been there once to see Mr. Davis, but it's okay as far as venues go - nothing special.
usually you buy tickets beforehand on etix.com but it doesnt look like the bbros show is up so maybe its just a door deal show. The last Surprise Me show there was about half full (if that) so I wouldnt worry about this show selling out, esp since there is no promotion outside of social media for this show that Ive seen. Usually bands do not go on right at the start time.

I saw a listing for Barr Bros. at La Sala Rossa (run by the same people who run Casa del Popolo; the two rooms are also across the street from each other) in Montreal on Saturday, Nov. 13.
Just spoke with Brad and HOB
