It's tough to say. My favorite songs of the like are The Invocation, Let There Be Horses, and Alsoa.

Oh, and Hoc No Seh. Anyone listened to the Sculler's show lately?

England, really?

i don't mean to be a debbie downer, but something about that song bores the hell out of me. :^/

As not to be all negative in this post, I'll think of some beauty as well:

Landing
Lotsa Sox
Happy Snails
so many more...

air is the body
more intense surveillance

i listened to the Aliveelectric Built For Zeal today and it made my brain extremely joyous. Beautiful, yes.

Speaking of More Intense Surveillance...could someone get me a copy of the Live @ Lupo's cd from June 2004? I had it, a friend borrowed it and scratched the hell out of it, and it was on my old ipod, which was stolen, and now I don't have it. That's one of my favorite Slip songs, and easily the best song from that show.

Oh and if anyone has the Axis show from 4-18-04, I'd like that, too. I miss rocking to Clementine.

Yeah, my copy became un-listenable as well. I considered re-purchasing the mp3s yesterday, but have yet to actually do that.

That Axis show was my first genuine SLiP show (I had seen Surprise Me a few months before). I think I have the recording somewhere (though maybe in a hard drive on the other side of the state). That was a great show. DJ Klock opened up. He was something else.

I remember seeing BAM walk out onto the stage as the SLiP for the first time that night. They had a certain look on their faces (Brad at least). They were ready to rock our socks off. And then they proceeded to do just that.

I remember, I think it was 2002 when the slip played late night at all good way up on the hill, they played the SICKEST cumulus ever!!

Also added to that, the show at the church in Philly that I met up with Tim at.. the TEWDACYATM was unbelievably awesome as well as the Alsoa.. that church had the most awesome acoustics and there was such a small crowd there it was very communal..

I have a lot more experiences like this, but it's hard to really pinpoint a favorite beautiful song that I've seen or heard from them...
Pat..
