no northeast Slip for 2010

Maybe my memory is faulty, but have there been any Slip shows in the northeast this year? Still holding out hope for a Thanksgiving Slip show somewhere....perhaps the new Met Cafe in Woonsocket RI.

They played a show in NYC in early January... I think that has been it for the Slip in 2010 other than the 2 High Sierra sets unless I am forgetting something . If the 12/30 San Francisco show is the only other set this year that means only 4 Slip shows this year... I mean I love Davis and the Barr Brothers are cool but where is The Slip??? Hopefully we will see more of them in 2011 or 2012 whenever they get the record they're working on out.

the new met cafe is in Pawtucket. From what I hear that would be a great place for the Slip

I'm thinking of going there on Saturday night to see Built to Spill. I've never seen them before but many people on this board have talked them up, so we'll see....

We're gonna see BTS at the Fillmore on 10/29... looking forward to it!

Also realized I forgot a couple sets in my 2010 math above, they did a set at Jazzfest and also a set at SXSW in Austin...

bummer! I'm going to BTS on the 30th. The 29th Marco is doing a Bitches Brew Revisited as part of SFJAZZ that I've got tix to.
