happy to see this announcement. secret city has some pretty successful artists on their roster (plants&animals, diamond rings), and it's a good fit for the barrs (altho arts&crafts probably would have been better). also nice to see they'll be coming back to toronto in september to play lee's palace. hopefully this signing helps to keep the band on the right track, focused, and leads to much better and certainly well-deserved exposure in the up-coming months.
that said, you can probably expect much less smmd/the slip focus from here on in.
