RIAA sues dead people (Village Voice)

Post: # 3521Post Phrazz »

What do all you punks think about this Village Voice article on the RIAA "crack-down" (or smack-down)? Anyone work for ASCAP here? :) [they get an honorable mention at the end of the article] Can the EFF do anything? How 'bout the ACLU?

I honestly think it's crap... but I will say this.. the smart thing to do, and this is what we always did... be greedy punk and don't share... download the song, share it for a little while, burn it or move it to a directory that is not being shared..... But I honestly think the riaa is getting away with some crap.. basically taking away due process... in my opinion, if they want to go to the hassle of doing things this way, then suck it up and deal with it the correct manner and give everyone their rights...
