Yeah I'm hearing that right now!! It was really fun. Bouba is great. His brother Sory Diabate (jee-baht-ay) played djembe all night (quite freeking loudly I might add). So it was BAM plus 2 Diabate brothers doing all Bouba's music. The tunes they did at the Ice Cream Truck and a bunch more. They did 2 sets that were about an hour each. I have no clue what the donation was. The place was packed though! It was sitting room with chairs and people in front sitting down. The back of the room got filled in with standing people. It thinned out for set two and people were dancing and grooving about. I just wished I knew what he was singing about. Next week is gonna be super hot!! Who's coming?

Last night was my favorite yet! Andrew started on his own. After a little while was joined by Jim Hobbs on alto. Then Marc came out later. Then Brad came out after that. Then Gil Aharon came out and played piano. Gil was really good but unfortunatly not loud enough in alot of sections. After a short break everyone came out including Django Cabango who played on the drumkit with Andrew for a while. Some great jams!! Who was there? Some people drove 6 hours I overheard!! WOW!
