yup, seeing U2 this saturday in philly. anyone seen them on this tour? what were your thoughts? will bono sign my ipod?

My roommate went here in Denver and said they played a lot of older stuff from War, and Boy, as well as all the other radio hits. I would imagine a Vertigo thrown in there somewhere.

pretty good show. the ticket said show would start at 7.30 and the opener was kings of leon. i thought there was no way that a saturday show was start around 7.30 and i wanted to check out the opening act, b/c i have heard some buzz about them. well.. i guess they did start around then, b/c they were long gone when i got to my seat around 8.30.

as for u2, pretty good show. the mix wasnt that great, but the edge was laying his chikachikachikachika guitar sound pretty good. a good mix of old and new, i havent bought their new one yet, so i didnt recognize some of that stuff. anyway, good lights, and bono acting like the clown rock star that he is.
