Hey all,
I'd like to chime in on this little thread. I am a taper. Some of you know
me, some not. And i'd like to say that sometimes tapers have other
priorities, its not their job to spread it. That being said, i love to
spread the tunes when i can, i've been extremely busy after HSMF. THe
service w/ the recordings that they provide is great, also though not all
sets are always available.
Anyway, if anyone wants to help me run some Bit-Torrents, if you know how to
create a torrent, and upload to a tracker, etc... feel free to contact me
off list. I could really use the help.
So far, everything i taped on laptop has been tracked out - i need to
transfer/track out the dat - tape recordings.

Just got home from late night ALO @ Fais A DODO. WOW! I taped most of it,
got there a little late due to a flat tire and getting slightly lost. But we
made it!
I also have all 3 nights of Panic wiltern.

Right on. I had been in touch with him through a taper network thing. He was getting all frustrated with me for some reason and never really told me how he wanted to get the recordings to me. I just contacted him again a second ago.

I'm helping Robin and Kenny get this out to people because I have time, but no money to just send them out to people hence the B & P offer posted on theslip.com. Ok, well I spoke to them last night and from I understood Kenny said he hadn't been in contact with you so I assumed they didn't get it to you as of yet. What sets did they send to you? I only have the 7-1-05 Slip late night set and the TheAmuseMeant set (7-3-05 Grand Stand stage)

Oh wait, maybe this was a girl named Morgan. Do you know her too? I'm not sure how I hooked up with her but she sent me 6 disks recently. Your friends have the late night set opening for Claypool only right? Do you know what mics and stuff he recorded it with? I was supposed to get that from Ian Stone but he hasn't let me know how he wants to deal with it yet. How do I need to get it from Robin and Kenny?

Why can't you get it from me? Robin and Kenny are very busy and I have the time right now to help out. If you send me 2 blanks and postage I will be happy to copy them for you Cleantone. You are the one after all who taught me how to burn to keep the best quality. As of right now I don't have any blue bottomed discs I only have a few TDK's.

I will ask Kenny sometime within the next week what the exact source he used was. I know he usually uses a mic and I know he has a DAT...in any case keep me posted. Peace~

i think Morgan was quick enough to buy the late night set as it was released at the festival. she told me that she's interested in checking out other recordings to compare the mix with that of the Festival Live. So yeah she is different from Robin heh
