What the hell! How could it be that The Slip are booked for a show in Stockbridge (I think?) and Leslie Helpert is booked for a show the same night at The Paradise (I think). It is a narrow decision, but I think Leslie wins (only because I think the long-awaited return to Sommerville Theater will give me my fill). OR...I couls catch Leslie's early show, run up Comm Ave. into Allston, find my car and CRUISE on I-90 to Stockbridge (I think?) and catch part of The Slip's set. Crazier things have happened.
