A magical evening with The Slip playing their first acoustic performance since 1997 and I think only their second one ever. This is a collection of all the songs that did not make it on the Aliveacoustic release. This is merely the audience mics. The album was mixed in a studio from the multitrack recordings I made that night. So if your hearing this and you do not yet own Aliveacoustic, do not pass go, do not collect $200, and do go to The Slip's website to order the epic acoustic live album. Bear in mind these are the tracks that did NOT make the album. The ones that did are truly on another level. That is saying a whole lot since this out-take collection is amazing in it's own right.
Tracks 3,5,7 don't have titles that I know of. Track 3 was dubbed Kurdistan by fans when it debuted but I'm pretty sure that was never official. The tune has since dissapeared. Track 7 sounds like that band Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I can't be sure without asking. It was Mothers Day if I recall correctly.
There is some mild wind from the ceiling fan but I think it's pretty easy to get over.

Thanks CleanToe - Another great download!
Reading the setlist made me wish that the taper of the San Francisco Brad solo show from pre High Sierra would have gotten in touch with me....but maybe it will surface at some point.
On a completely unrelated note - I have a feeling that you use both Macs and PCs. I'm trying to use my PC (XP) to read and write to an external USB hard drive in Mac Extended Format (journaled) that I'm sharing with an ibook (OS X)for music and photos but have been having trouble finding a decent PC program to do this. Any suggestions?

Brad said that the whole show got all effed up. I think the taper also worked at the venue and lost the sets from his computer locking up. He thought he got one set but later learned he had lost it all. I think that is the story.Reading the setlist made me wish that the taper of the San Francisco Brad solo show from pre High Sierra would have gotten in touch with me....but maybe it will surface at some point.
I really have no idea. I think it's possable but I wouldn't know how. I would like to know as well. I would try a Mac techy message board. Don't know where to aim you to find one right now though. Good luck.On a completely unrelated note - I have a feeling that you use both Macs and PCs.
