recently, i split a case (12-pack) of 22 oz. bottles of Arrogant Bastard Ale. enjoyed this very much. also, a local bar has Troeg's Mad Elf (winter seasonal i believe) on tap.. very tasty as well. plus with 11% abv that you can't even notice makes it even better.

recently.. I was able to try an Italian Drink called Rostafia <sp?>. It's a combination of wine, whiskey, cherry juice, sugar, and cherries... looking for a recipe cause this shit is daaaammmmn goood! Anybody got any idea? Or a better spelling of the name... that would be clutch!

Ok.. found it.. not that anyone will make it.. but, I think it's really good...

RATAFIA RECIPE
1 cup organic seasonal fruit or vegetable or herb (if
an herb, crush a little; if fruit or vegetable, cut
open) (or juice.. like cherry juice)
¼ cup organic sugar
¼ organic whole vanilla bean (cut open)
¼ cup Tito’s vodka (made in Austin!) or any
clean-tasting vodka
1 bottle Crisp white wine or dry red wine

or

2 Bottle Dago Red wine
1 fifth whiskey
1 bottle Cherry Juice
Sugar to taste
Cherries
