that whole album is spectacular. lots of great jazzy covers of some great tunes from Bjork, Brubek, Mingus, Hendrix, The Flaming Lips. also some great originals like Davey's Purple Powerline, Halliburton Breakdown, Santiago, and The Maestro.
Very tight, clever covers, and great originals. Overall, the album is very crisp, succint, and hard-hitting, but also refreshing and light, unlike some of their previous albums (which are still real good).
I have the album too and am not really that huge a fan of it. I've listened to it thru under 10 times I would say and I've been waiting for it to grow on me but it still hasn't. Of course I'll keep trying. There is also a great interview with the band discussing the new album:
