The Slip - 03-02-2006 Main Hall

Post: # 9452Post bouche »

I've finally had some time to rock the fu@k out to the recording from thursday's Slipevent.

The Slip really put on their magic boots after getting warmed up via super rockstars Apollo Sunshine. Check out the download...

C'est une photo magnifique, monsieur! Looks like Brad's neighbor and Marc missed a good joke. :-) Nice to know the neighborhood rockers are getting together to promote international diplomacy.

Where's the EXIF? What were you shooting with here? Seriously tight field on that one.

Anyone see the Wiki article on The Slip? Someone finally updated the bios...Marc's was written by someone with skills. Check it out....

I swear it was there a second ago. Crap, I broke Wikipedia. I hope they don't find me. At least MySpace isn't the only site getting hammered (and going offline). Goes with the territory of being popular. [ Something about Andy Warhol goes here (but I forget the line). ]

I certainly used Photoshop to modify the image properties, and I thought that the EXIF info was always saved with the image. How do I do that then?

I have a 1.4 50mm lens that I bought while in Burlington for SMMD last April, and it usually pulls off some very nice results with the lighting at most rock shows. It is definately very tight though when wide open. I have to be very careful with the focus for sure.

I started up a Slip group on Flickr that I think you should join, and anyone else with happy Slip shots.
