Supposedly there will be lots more tickets released on the day of the show (tomorrow) as long as the weather cooperates and they can play outside. Weather.com predicts 67 degrees and sunny. Wahoo!
Might anyone else attend?
Edit:
Loose Setlist (revision needed)
Race for the Prize
Fight Test
Led Zeppelin somethingerother
Pompeii am Götterdämmerung
Yoshimi Pt. 1 and 2
Vein of Stars
She don't use Jelly
Yeah Yeah Yeah song
Waiting for Superman
Do You Realize?
A Spoonful Weighs a Ton
A very good show. The weather could not have been more perfect. It felt like summer on the Brown U. quad with some frisbee and music. Wayne came out in that huge bubble and walked over the crowd at the beginning (How does he get into that thing?). He said he was appreciative of Brown for making such an effort to have this concert despite the events that occured on Monday, considering that they could have easily called off the whole thing. Lots of balloons and confetti and whathaveyou. 'Twas my first F'Lips show and I give it two thumbs up.
Yo La Tengo also put on a good set.

Tapsmir. Nice. That was Kashmir with Wayne playing Taps (on an automatic Taps-playing synth bugle).
It was great to finally see these guys, and at a much smaller show than I expected (2-3k). I managed to get pretty close to the stage and was surrounded by bouncing kids afflicted with I-know-every-word-to-every-song-and-will-prove-it-to-you-by-singing-every-word-and-pumping-my-fist-with-every-word-but-only-one-fist-because-I'm-holding-my-girlfriend-with-the-other-hand syndrome, which kind of sucked. But at least they were having a good time.
But I got covered with confetti, had several very large balloons bounce of my head (they're surprisingly soft), and when Wayne came out in the hamster ball, he stacked right over me and fell his face into my hand. I can die now, knowing that I have touched greatness (through plastic anyway) (we like to practice safe greatness touching).
Yeah, they play the same set night after night. Yeah we found confetti six blocks away. Yeah I can hear the same tracks on my iPod.
But The Flaming Lips (Wayne and Steven especially) are some really great people (on stage anyway), and Lips shows are like Ferraris.
If you have the chance I highly recommend you pick one up. It is _so_ choice.
