ISO 4.18.2004 Live at the Axis, Boston, MA
Anyone have this show? I lost it when my computer died a few years back. Friends tell me they didn't quite enjoy this show, but it was my first one, and the Clementine on it rocks hard, and I want to relive that epic CoD > Crowd Clap jam that ensued....that was a great experience.

hey i was at this show too...i think the mudslide was pretty good too, if i remember correctly. i might have only one track of it though, it was called "new tune by marc" and it was a kinda rockin instrumental in an odd time signature. i'll search for it on my external later this week!

This was my first show too. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I have the recording on my old computer, which unfortunately is on the opposite side of the planet that I am on. I remember loving Fuji and Happy Snails and Mudslide and Aptos...
Some guy named DJ Klock opened. I think he joined the Slip for a very off-the-wall Aptos.

That's right....forgot about DJ Klock. Wasn't he from Japan? Someone tried telling me that "new tune by marc" turned into Proud somehow. I never believed him, but that was a cool one. I think I might have this show on a harddrive that's in that PC that's out of commission... but it's an internal HD and I have no idea how I'd get it up and running as an external HD.

Hmm, don't have this one, would love to hear it! I'm a big fan of 2004, right on the cusp between the older and newer material.

I recorded this. It's here somewhere. I remember the DJ (and club) had a quadrophonic rig. I think I rolled for his set. Or at least some of it. I'm pretty sure I just have an audience two track for this one. I'll try to put my hands on it. I'm sick today but I don't have anywhere to be either...

I really jumped through some hoops for you with this one. I spent at least half of yesterday doing a fresh mastering from my original two track. The fileset from my first version was dated the following day. Here you go...

I was just thinking about this show the other night... and the drive down and back to Vermont with Paul, arriving in Burlington as the sun was coming up. One of the crazier one-night road trips I took to see The Slip, probably the second-longest after the whirlwind trip from Boston to NYC on 12/26/03 for the two-show acoustic/electric night at the Knitting Factory. I don't know if I ever had a copy of this one, but I always did appreciate a good Mudslide.

Apologies for an acquaintance of mine shouting "74!" until they played it. Also, shout out to the "woo" guy, who can be clearly heard in Clementine.

and here I am years later, and several harddrives past, yet again asking if anyone's got this one lying around?
